It honestly blows my mind how much hate some people here exhibit towards the other side.

Just sharing my own experience, some of the conservatives on this site just spew hatred and slander at the slightest hint of a liberl. They seem genuinely to believe that liberals hate them and america and want it to be overrun by this or that perceived threat.

I don't know why people find it so difficult to understand that the other side are just people too.

At the very least not demonize an entire group of people.
Like i'm a liberal and therefore i have different views on certain things than conservatives. But i take those issue by issue and person by person.
