@QuixoticSoul but people who argue for the free market say it's completely rational and that these markets will regulate themselves. Pure fantasy and easily evidenced to be shown as such

@gol979 Those people are idealistic dreamers, just like people who think a command economy can function at anything approaching optimum. Markets are not especially rational, and tend to be short-sighted. Some direction and regulation will always be necessary.

@QuixoticSoul I watched CNN, the supposedly liberal and progressive news channel and they were demonizing all socialism and all on board with the imminent or at least wanted invasion of venezuela.

I see a lot of people on here arguing about trumpkins and c!linton, democrats v republicans. The fact is, that barring a few identity issues (trans etc), they are the same. Did you see that video of Dianne Feinstein brushing off the kids about climate change.......she may as well be a denier because they are going to take the same action.....fuck all. She should be ashamed of herself for how she spoke to her constituents

@gol979 CNN is not especially liberal or progressive - it's biased towards mainstream Democrats and against Republicans. But mainstream democrats aren't especially liberal or progressive.
