If the Republicans want to have a candidate with a record like that it's their choice. Trump has a large team of expensive lawyers, and has been involved in over 3500 civil cases about refusing to pay for items ordered or refusing to pay taxes. The NY state department of finance has obtained liens on trump property for unpaid taxes at least 36 times. All this is easy to find on google and elsewhere
