Is "fake news" fake?

If you see and hear something, but someone says what you saw and heard was misquoted, taken out of context, and was "fake news" even though the people who said what you heard and saw stand by what they said, can you legitimately call that "someone" a gutless, failing, and out-of-touch Baby?

What can you call the people who deny what they heard and saw because someone told them not to believe what they heard and saw for themselves?
And Republicans still can't figure out why the entire world is laughing at them.

Trump's cult employ some/most of the headlines in this article.

And how to spot one..

@HerKing That's a really well done graphic. I've read about the 'fake news' farms, as well as that American who was the big cheese who finally came clean, and it's FASCINATING how it works. Trump is an extension of it with his words.
I'm just curious to see, as we continue to find our way in the digital age, if we'll become more or less discerning. As of now it seems like we're losing the battle overall. But it's also a golden age REAL journalism.

Trump is deranged. He simply doesn't think about anything but the now. He probably can't even remember the six gave testimoney live on TV under oath and that they said pretty much the opposite of the crap he's been saying. As he has the pathological inability to accept he can be wrong he defaults to blaming firstly the messenger (The six intel chiefs and denigrates their intelligence and aptitude) then realises today it's giving him bad press, so then decided (Okay, lied) that the six intel chiefs agree with him after all (They don't) and that it was the press who by using unicorn blood and fairy dust managed to get the six chiefs to not say what they said on live TV...Is that clear?

Yes you can call someone that. And other things.
I knew that things were going to change in a big way when the phrase "fake news" was co-opted by Trump to mean anything that was negative towards him. I'll bet 98% of his supporters have no idea what "fake news" REALLY is. And that's because they were predominantly the target. So messed up.
a gutless, failing, and out-of-touch Baby mark

@abe182 Today. The gutless and failing Baby-trump said the testimony the Intelligence Directors (CIA, National Security, etc.) gave to Congress yesterday, that was televised, was "misquoted, taken out of context," and fake news and that that's what the Directors told him.
