Occasionally here in the states I hear rumblings about a split among the countries/states (not sure what they call them) I wonder what your feelings are on such a split. Should Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland split or stay one country?
It's an incredibly complicated issue but I don't blame the Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish from wanting indepedence. It's been going that way for a while and they now have their own parliaments, devolved from Westminster.
If it does happen and Scotland choose to re-enter the EU after Brexit, I am moving up there immediately.
Welsh independence isn't really a thing but they have their own identity.
Scottish indie was voted against by ten points and the SNP did badly in the last election so it seemed to be running out of steam. Brexit could change that though.
It could also change northern Ireland where the Republican community especially is pro EU. They are catching up to the unionists in terms of numbers too.
Personally, I'd rather keep the UK together but I believe in giving them the choice.
