It’s an old tale - and anyway, the best predictor of whether someone will turn out to be conservative is how much fear a child shows on the playground.
We need all types though, society needs some paranoid weirdos or it becomes too trusting. But you have to keep that mentality in check or things turn sour in a hurry.
