Did the real Donald Trump tweet that? Good grief, he's an even more ignorant moron than I previously thought. How the heck did he become President of the USA?

@Crazychick Yup.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@QuixoticSoul How can we get him depresidented? I know that's not a proper word, but I don't know the correct word for it off the top of my head. Lol :)
@Crazychick Impeached.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Crazychick Lmao, being a blathering retard isn’t an impeachable offense.
We’ll be fine, the strength of this country lies in its institutions, and if we can’t survive one monumental idiot they aren’t worth a damn.
It’s a good demonstration why the founding fathers were so cautious about the concept of democracy.

@QuixoticSoul Impeached? Is that the word I was trying to think of? Why do they call it that? It sounds like they are going to turn him into a fruit. Lol :)
@Crazychick Comes from the Old french root empecher which also gives us the word impede. Which is what it means. To impede or halt.

@canusernamebemyusername I can't see the remotest connection between those words. How does "ch" become "d"? 🤔
@Crazychick French lolz

@Crazychick Anglo-saxon linguistic talent.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@calnative Worst. Nothing remotely good would come of it.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername I used to do French in school, but I don't remember any French words where "ch" transformed into "d". If I'd learned that, I'd have thought when I was 11 that the word "darling" was derived from the name "Charlotte". Lol :)
@Crazychick It probably got mangled went it went into old English then. I know that ch and d can be interchanged in Japanese. But I don't know about how this one morphed.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername I haven't the first clue about Japanese.
@Crazychick That is the only one I took. French I couldn't get my head around. lol
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername We all did French in school for two years, from age 11. We chose our options at 13.
@Crazychick I did mine in college so it stuck less for me:P
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername Why didn't you do it in school like everybody else?
@Crazychick It wasn't a requirement in mine.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername How come? It was on the curriculum when I was 11 (that would be 1997) and I'm sure it had always been like that.
@Crazychick My education was scattered a lot. I jumped between schools. Private, public and religious and it just never was a requirement or it got lost in the cracks.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername I didn't know the curriculum varied from one school to another.
@Crazychick Yeah. Especially between public and religious. Completely different.
Crazychick · 36-40, F
@canusernamebemyusername Well, we learn something new every day. I left school in 2002 and this is the first I've heard of that.
@Crazychick Learning is good. :p
