@4meAndyou she is one of your only political figures talking about addressing inequality with genuine policies that will bring a semblance of that to your society. I'm a little unsure why you find that stupid?

@gol979 I have listened to her proposals most carefully. They will crash our economy and bankrupt the government, driving business and the wealthy to jump ship as we become a larger version of Venezuela. Those who genuinely care about our people and our society do not want a series of welfare state without the means to pay the welfare. It will result in starvation, the elderly will die...it would be a disaster on a scale so massive it would be worse than war.

That is why we joke about her inability to do math. It is just my personal opinion that she is stupid, because she is so short-sighted and can't see the really big picture.

@4meAndyou how did I know you would bring Venezuela up. I can go through it again but am really getting bored of debunking that consistently used example. Just one point (there are more), look at the ramifications of sanctions and specifically those imposed by the US and the EU. Especially damaging as the US dollar is the reserve currency.

You speak about the bigger picture and that the policies she is advocating will bankrupt the country. I'm sorry but that just doesn't stack up.

Corporations filter their profits through tax loopholes, this could be solved overnight but isn't. The military budget is a disgusting $750 billion. Bigger than the next 7 countries total budgets. That's allegedly for "defence"?? Rubbish, you could slash that by 3\4 and still function at the highest level. Your renewing your nuclear weapons for over $1 trillion (psychopathic). The trillions of public money used to bail out the banks.

On top of all that, the recent Pentagon audit shows that it is just missing $21 trillion, along with 16,000 documents. That's fucking insane.

All of the policies could be afforded with just one of those budgets I have mentioned above.

Also, you may want to check what fiscal multipliers are, especially in relation to welfare.

In spite of that evidence, which is easily sourced, I'm sure this point even penetrate your consciousness??

@Budwick What I have heard is her tax plan. She wishes to tax the wealthy at 70% to pay for her programs. Apparently she has forgotten that the only reason the economy is thriving is because businesses which had bailed out and left the country are now returning due to tax cuts. Her proposals would drive business out again, and we would return to the abysmal Obama era levels. She can not legally force her proposed tax cows to remain here. and be milked.

As I'm a dumbass you should have no problem debating the aforementioned points I made......let's leave the military budget out of it, what about the other budgets and figures I mentioned. Surely you can agree that the trillions used to bail out the banks is wrong and should/could have been used to address inequality? Surely the $21 trillion and 16,000 documents missing should at least pique your interest??
