Let us dispense with political taxonomy (left and right) for this subject.....

Surely we can all agree that this economic system is broken for the majority of people? In a recent Oxfam report, 26 people own as much wealth as 50% of the global population.

The economic model of deregulated, free-market capitalism doesn't work......it's time for more equitable (wealth and environment) system, don't you think?

It is inevitable in any system. That's why a social douching is needed every so often and why civilization is a house of cards with no real foundation. It will always crumble under its own weight in time.

@MethDozer I don't think that's the case......but I have no examples to point to. We have to think beyond what we have done before. Empire always fails, I concur but we don't need to follow that model

@gol979 Of course we do. Yet it is ignorant and short sighted to once again assume we fixed it. The same thing happens again and again. Constant adjustments always needed.

@MethDozer anyone (who isn't mega rich) who think this is fixed is, quite frankly, deluded

@gol979 Who said it was fixed dude? Stay on track.

@MethDozer I was addressing the presumption that "we fixed it", I'm agreeing with you.......in an illegible way, apologies 😂

@gol979 My bad, it sounded accusatory .lol

@MethDozer that's my usual tone but new year, new me lol
