In percentage terms, what are the chances of that border wall being built?

All actual political views aside
43%. Probably sometime in the next 20 years. It's going to take a major catastrophe to open the eyes of the 'emotionally motivated'. Autonomy and security are common sense, but the leftist base their ideology on emotions and feelings rather than rational logic. It will not happen soon. There will have to be some major event that might at least temporarily bring the effeminate left to their senses enough to listen to reason.
@puck61 I’m not gonna argue with you, but for the sake of fair representation, a lot of the arguments in support of this wall are heavily emotionally driven too. I mean things like ‘protect america’s culture’ and things which aren’t really arguments that can take place in the realm of actual logic.
That being said I broadly agree with a lot of what you’ve written
@MarkPaul You seem to be completely unaware of what is going on. Your posts are basically 'litter'.
@AndrewtheAlu The "melting pot" is "American culture". That's the beauty, but the difference between diversity and multiculturalism is like the difference between a pinata and a dirty bomb.

0% = wall
30% = fence
55% = upgrade of existing barriers
Looking at it realistically...

About 60% or so. I say that because chances are far better it won't be completed after Trump leaves office, than it won't be funded. This is all political theater with both sides thumping their chests and trying to look good to their base.

@PrivateHell yeah the war on drugs has long been lost and the wall is not about drugs. it does less then zero about drugs. if anythign the wall is forcing human trafficers to dig tunnels.. but thats all a wall does
@EvilFairy not true. Everywhere Bush's fence (which Schumer, Pelosi, Clinton and Obama all supported) was built has seen a 70-90% drop in both illegal crossing and drug trafficking. That is public record. Walls/barriers do work. It is proven
EvilFairy · 18-21, F
@PrivateHell no they do not... you just go where there is no wall.
EvilFairy · 18-21, F
none... it would take decades for this wall to be build with all the law suits that would be involved and by then someone will stop it or tear it down
EvilFairy · 18-21, F
@Mountainlady16 land ownership... is this wall even "allowed"... enviromental concerns... do you really think people just gonna say oh great a wall let him build that. there is massive opposition to it and it will be fought for evermeter of the wall and the police costs alone are triple the price.

and then as soon as there is another president they will tear it down.

you might not like that, but ask yourself is that what libtards would do ?
Mountainlady16 · 22-25, F
@EvilFairy yeah they probably would but we need security
EvilFairy · 18-21, F
@Mountainlady16 well you not getting it that way...

@Overwatch6 70% is not split

Look I am for barriers at certin points. Ie hey we have high traffic from point a to point b for 150 miles. And we can’t increase patrols or surveillance.

But a great trump wall no. That’s dumb

0% and 100%. Some kind of compromise will be struck, and Trump will be able to say, "see? that's what I meant by a wall", and Democrats will say, "that's not a wall."
@DrWatson welp, this is probably the best analysis of it tbh
It fits with pretty much everything that happens in politics

@Overwatch6 Obama’s gone. If you think I am an Obama guy no I am a moderate.

Trump won because of constitutional electoral college And the dems bitched.

Now trump lost the congress he had 2 years with full control

Now your bitching about how you don’t have the power of the purce so the constitution needs to be bypassed

0.000001, optimistically.

Political views aside it’s been proven by history to be ineffective.
