Recently some politicians have begun to talk about morality on at least two different issues. Do you think it is believable, in any way, for a Washington politician to sling the concept of "morality" around?

I don't know about Washington, but I think you might be speaking too generally. Maybe there are more specific morality topics you have in mind

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Actually what I am addressing is the idea that a Washington politician, who has been living in and slinging slime by choice (a requirement in Washington), can use the word "morality" at all.
@4meAndyou well, what I know about politics worldwide, is that slime-slinging is ethical even if not moral. This is one of those things were ethics and morality diverge

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Slime slinging is a form of combat. I don't know if that is ethical. I will have to give that some thought.

All right...just one thought so far. ALL political parties are fighting one another in order to grab power. They will step upon the bleeding bodies of others to achieve it.

I mean you can you’re saying that a politician can’t be moral but we all have basic morals don’t murder, steal, commit genocide. When you say they don’t have morals you call them inhuman and make them look evil what the problem is is that you cannot get anything done without lobbying which means if you go in honest and completely pure you won’t get anything done. They are playing the game, get rid of lobbyists and you will have a much more perfect system ( notice I didn’t say perfect) read republic lost by lawerence Lessing it’s very good and breaks everything down @4meAndyou

@Daddy91 Lots of politicians, especially senators and the President at times, promote theft, murder and genocide. There's a movie based on a true story, with Tom Hanks, called Charlie Wilsons war...shows you the basic crap that goes on every day in Washington.

I don’t trust movies I’ll watch a documentary from a solid source and check It myself but also books from people who were there. War is a different matter entirely anyways than day to day politics

@Daddy91 It wasn't a war. That's just the title of the movie.
