Sovereign citizen/ freeman on the land: Can someone explain to me the argument "i'm not driving...

...i'm travelling." ?

Like, yeah. You ARE traveling and you're doing that by operating a motor vehicle which requires a license.
How is this meant to be a defense?

I don’t understand your question. Please elucidate @Pikachu
@jackjjackson

People who call themselves sovereign citizens of freemen on the land assert that they do not have to have a driver's license because they are not driving but traveling which all american citizens are allowed to do.

I'm asking how this argument makes sense since they are objectively driving a motor vehicle.

In this specific case it doesn’t seem to make sense if they are operating motor vechicles. If they are openating Jetton type crat who knows? @Pikachu
@jackjjackson

In all the cases i've seen, they're driving cars

Good point. Although I strongly suspect should I request a hearing on this issue I expect I would lose not that there is not a point. q

@Pikachu

I'm certainly not aware of any of these arguments holding up in court
