Damn. You know Trump is on the wrong side of the issue when even Fox takes a stance against him.

Fox News announced today that it will back rival network CNN’s lawsuit against the Trump administration over the White House’s revoking of CNN reporter Jim Acosta’s press credentials. "FOX News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential. We intend to file an amicus brief with the U.S. District Court," the right-wing cable channel’s president Jay Wallace said in a statement.

"Secret Service passes for working White House journalists should never be weaponized," the network added. "While we don't condone the growing antagonistic tone by both the President and the press at recent media avails, we do support a free press, access and open exchanges for the American people."

I actually think they should be used as a weapon of last resort. Warn the prep, slap them on the wrist. Then give them the boot for being pricks.

Our media is starting to get out of control imho. Both sides.

That was the issue that allowed the judge to give the initial win to CNN. The WH had no written policy statements, so deeming Acosta in violation was deemed arbitrary. I suspect written standards will be in force by the next press conference and enforced by the WH and upheld by the courts. Incivil, irrelevant, imbecilic, self serving, juvenile behavior in the WH is not constitutionally protected when in violation of published standards. @AceWarbringer

@jackjjackson exactly. I think that's what happened here too. And i think that there was a report of someone drafting a code of conduct like that as well.

I just hope it's impartially and infrequently enforced. Sometimes those conferences get rowdy

There is rowdy which is fine and there is behavior far outside of reasonable decorum is not. @AceWarbringer
