@QuixoticSoul Agreed! As I said, I did look up what he was talking about, since he couldn't provide me any facts, and it dishearted me to hear that. like Obama, but he certainly wasn't perfect.
And as you mentioned, Obama had problems, but he seems to have just carried on what Presidents before him did, trump however took his shittiness to the next level.

If Obama had done that with a Fox News journalist, everyone would be talking about how the Left is "censoring free speech". But when it happens the other way, it's perfectly fine, I guess.

That little bit of political theater was planned in advance of that press conference. Trump went out there looking to change the narrative from the election drubbing, and once again, he effectively pulled his Svengali routine with the media who stepped right into his trap. I would bet that intern was already coached to approach Acosta (or whomever he got combative with) to grab that mic ahead of time. He went out there spoiling for a fight and called on the reporters he knew would give him one. You have to give him credit for being a master of manipulation, because he plays the media like a fiddle at will. Low and behold, the lead story became Acosta and his press pass, which is exactly what Trump wanted to achieve with that farcical press conference.

Yeah, it's not like he was a real journalist. Trump should have banned the entire left wing media. I can't imagine being stupid enough to believe anything they say.
