Jim Acosta lost his White House press credentials. Get over it.

He was nothing but a hack anyway

Governmental attacks on free press are a sure sign of a dying democracy.
Stargate · M
@helenS that was against one man from a network the president has hated for years.

@Stargate The picture that "cherokeepatti" posted is very telling. This is what Mr. T.'s supporters think about free press.
katielass · F
@helenS True but once again, odumbo is gone and we're back to handling things democratically again.

@katielass Thank you Katie. Actually it’s not any of my business (Europe here), so I better keep my mouth shut. Always difficult to understand things in a foreign country. Thank you again.

@Stargate And the threats to other journalists have already begun.

Thanks for your continuing efforts to enable the destruction of our Republic!

"And the threats to other journalists have already begun.

— Greg Gianforte, a Montana Republican, was sentenced on Monday to 40 hours of community service and 20 hours of anger management classes for assaulting a reporter the night before he won a seat in the House of Representatives last month. ("fake news" journal NYT, 6/13/2017)

— US President Donald Trump has praised a Republican congressman who assaulted a journalist last year with a "body slam", referring to him as "my guy".
"Greg is smart," Mr Trump said of Montana Congressman Greg Gianforte, adding "By the way, never wrestle him". ("fake news" radio station BBC, 10/19/2018)

@helenS Yep, I was only talking about the recent threats made to revoke other journalists' press credentials a la Acosta.

Actual physical violence against journalists is definitely a conservative thing.

— Don't know whether that's true or not. I consider myself to be a conservative person (you know, free markets and all that nonsense...) but I have rarely ever attacked a free press agent.
