The problem for American Conservatives ...

... who support Trump? Is always having to say you are sorry.

Is the left engaging in irresponsible rhetoric? Sure, but Trump...

That's the problem with "norm-breaking". When you break them, then nobody has to pay attention to them. Which is fine, when it is just you. Not so fun when it's the people you disagree with.

We'll just give the president the power to amend the Constitution by executive order and then he can void the bill of rights and make any laws he wants!

@Xuan12 I believe the previous President amended the Constitution any time he had the whim, ie the iran nuclear "treaty". The precedent has been set, so the current President is merely following established norms.

@sunsporter1649 Iran is in the constitution? Funny, my version doesn't have it ...
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@WoodyAq How soon you forget.

@sunsporter1649 Nope. Got the constitution in front of me. No amendments mentioning Iran ...
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@WoodyAq LOL, tell that to the previous President and his signing of a treaty with iran, without the Constitutionally mandated approval of the United States Senate.

@sunsporter1649 Oh. That's not an amendment, that's the Senate being lazy. Like it not authorizing the wars we've been in since 1941 ...
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@WoodyAq LOL, you keep believing that. "I voted for the war, before I voted against it." Carey was a trip, he gave me quite a few belly laughs.

@sunsporter1649 That's a non sequitur.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@WoodyAq So was carey.
