I've tried to keep politics off my main page and confine it to my replies, but this is just sickening.

1) Are you aware that entering the country illegally is a crime subjecting the perpetrator to imprisonment?
2) Can you name any crime punishable by imprisonment that would not separate the perpetrator from his/her children?

It's not enough, reading some responses here, to say this shouldn't be surprising or this is just what Trump does. This demands action. This is not okay. This is burning the town down so we can say it wasn't overcome by flood.

And we'd all do well to remember: "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."

We're not powerless. Our knowledge leads to action, our action is in our votes, our votes decide the make-up of our government and our government will rule well and mercifully as long as we maintain our vigilance.

"Did you vote?"
"Politics sucks and my vote doesn't matter."
"Then you end up with the choice being made for you."

"But you didn't vote and you ended up with people you hate."

The only word for this is evil. These people are evil; there's nothing else to call them.

There have been a few religious people speaking out against this atrocity; it was even too far for a POS like Franklin Graham. But far too many of them have been celebrating this as "criminals getting what they deserve."

I'm not sure who said this, but I think it's very accurate, that one-third of Americans would gladly kill another third, while the remaining third watches. In many ways, this feels like Nazi Germany in the 1930s; the only thing missing is an economic meltdown, and if that happens I don't think our current institutions are going to save us.

What did you expect? Decorum, respect? A leader? We lost that and any leadership qualities the day he was “voted” in. He emboldens his base too.
