What type of dictator do you reckon you'd be?

I'd be pretty tolerant to religion, ideology and other such idealistic nonsense. I'd be more the do as I say or I'll kill you type. And if you rebelled, well, the bleeding lot of you would end up dead. But I wouldn't be mucking about with agricultural practices or trying to make myself out to be a living god.

Total freedom of religion. As long as it was practiced the privacy of your own home. No expression of religion in public. ANY religion. All regions taxed as if they were corporations.
Migration welcome from anywhere. Residency granted with a proviso that violation of the criminal code by three misdemeanors or one felony is instant deportation . In the case of someone underage, the parents have the option to go with them.
Any offence committed under the influence of drugs or alcohol is ungraded at least one level , due to additional culpability. A completely free press, with the only requirement for defence being truth. to keep the bureaucracy in check.
All gun owners to accept criminal culpability for any offence carried out with a firearm registered in their name. and all laws changed to reflect the idea that harm must be demonstrated for an offence to have occurred.

who cares where they come from if there isnt the infrastructure, hospitals schools houses, jobs, and roads etc etc to accommodate..

But there is currently no return to sender clause of they are not upstanding citizens. Most migrants are a bonus to the nations. The few bad eggs give them a bad name. My plan draws a clear behaviour code. @daddyxx

I'd be quite benevolent and tolerant.

We'd be one big happy planet living in peace and harmony, ending hunger and disease on a world-wide scale.

And if anyone got any ideas to the contrary, they'd find themselves up on the Arctic ice sheet with all the captured terrorists, rapists and child abusers.

Believe me when I say that polar bear malnutrition would be a thing of the past.

What type? There is no type, a dictator is a dictator. Means a ruler with total power over a country, typically one who has obtained power by force.

@Allelse I agree, it makes me wince when I think of all the laws that are actually based on religious belief. Most people are so ignorant they have no idea this is fact. OR that the other half of our country is based off a fallen empire ROME. If it didnt work for them it wont work for us. Guess we are immune to the coming collapse. However, it makes me ill thinking of all we have set up today that is based off christian beliefs. Pushing their beliefs and life over on all people under the disguise of LAW>

Everybody can do what they want. Same basic laws as the USA. main difference would be A: all drugs are legal and B: no religion whatsoever period. All subscribers to religion will be exiled to other countries. If you sneak back in you'll be imprisoned. If you escape you'll be hung publically until you rot away to nothing.

Very conservative socially. Isolationist. One party. Those belonging to the party will be the only ones who may work in public offices and have the right to carry guns. Total control of education.
