If Trump isn't guilty of anything and there is no collusion as he claims, then why would he need to pardon himself?

Well... let's say that it turns out he lied... well not lied, but recalled things the wrong way and then made the necessary correction... well not a correction like he did something wrong, but... you know... had a new recollection. Yeah, it was just a new recollection. And, if that new recollection is... well... you know involved with things that he didn't originally remember, but that he did that might not have been legal... well I don't mean illegal, but could be seen by some people (maybe many people) that he did something wrong, well, wouldn't it be a good idea for him to be able to pardon himself? So... yeah...
@MarkPaul I think you need a sarcasm emoji.

@MistyCee Wouldn't that be overkill?
@MarkPaul Should be, but tonight I've come face to face with folks who you could show videos of Trump making snuff films with their own children and would shrug it off somehow.

Thankfully, SW probably has more nuts than the general population (and I'm one btw), but you've got to remember, that some of the people really don't get that the Borowitz report is satire.

If you think about it, they're the same kind of folks who signed up for Trump U.

@MistyCee True... but can we continue to enable with them with hand-holding for the rest of their voting lives?
@MarkPaul They resent that hand holding, too, which is part of the problem.

@MistyCee That's true. They seem to have so much anger... perhaps some of it's justified. But, they resent hand-holding. They resent being ignored. And, they think they are accomplishing something great by buying into the lie.
