But, the President is required, under oath and by constitutional mandate, to faithfully execute the law. So pardoning himself would be a breach of that faith.

@LvChris I think he's already trapped in enough lies ("I didn't write the Don, Jr. memo;" "I did dictate it." "I didn't pay the Stormy Daniels hush money;" I did pay it." "I fired Comey for handling of Clinton's emails;" "I fired Comey for the Russia thing;" "I didn't fire Comey because of Russia." And, so on...) that he won't be able to [u]legally[/u] get out of the trap.
