Sanctuary cities are a joke and in violation of federal law

I live in Chicago which is considered a sanctuary city but to be honest I’m not entirely sure what a sanctuary city is. Something to do with immigrants I think?

@BlueMetalChick My understanding is that the city limits the cooperation it gives to federal immigration authorities.
