The New York elite strongly dislike Donald Trump and have done so since the 1980's. And it's not because Donald is richer than most, because in reality, Donald is not rich by THEIR standards of personal wealth.

As far as I'm concerned, if one New Yorker from upper Manhattan strongly dislikes another New Yorker from upper Manhattan, they must all know something about Trump that I am not privy to, despite the fact that I have not yet been invited into the elitist colony of upper Manhattan. Truth is, neither has Donald, despite decades of crashing parties and making an otherwise public nuisance of himself, even though he repeatedly shows up stone-sober expecting someone to let him in. But they don't!
