Quite true, but he's making the job much more difficult. Teaching kids right and wrong, acceptable behavior, and even about things like ethics are all much harder with Trump as President.
@Sicarium I don't think so, really. Trump is no excuse for bad parenting to be sure, but explaining things has gotten a lot harder, thanks to where we are, what's on the news, and what's happening.
Did Trump cause a shooting? No, and he's really, IMO, more of a symptom than a cause of things, but his behavior, and the toleration of it is aggravating the problems.
How do you teach kids to accept responsibility and adhere to ethical and moral conduct when the President doesn't even act like an adult, much less even pretend to?

@MistyCee Even if I take the assumption that Trump is some super-morally reprehensible person as true, which I don't (it's just the usual, meaningless moralizing and selective outrage from the left), the right said the same thing during the Clinton administration. It was no more a valid excuse then than it is now.
And when leftists claim Trump can't act like an adult, they really just mean that he won't roll over and quietly accept the same attacks they've been levelling at people for 40 years. I have no problem with that.
Mass shootings have been going on for a while. Blaming Trump in any way is a cop out, an excuse, a distraction, and a continuing assurance that nothing will be fixed.

@Sicarium I didn't blame Trump for the shooting. Honestly, I personally think that Obama did more to inflame this situation by opening his big mouth and talking about scared people clinging to their guns.
I think he was right, mind you, but the POTUS shouldn't make social problems worse. That's what Obama did, and that's Trump's MO.
Can I piss off someone and get a headline?
Will it deflect from my last fuck up?
