Why does Jeff Sessions want to try and stop me and my friends smoking weed?

Isn't it a personal choice? Is it because he takes money from big pharmaceutical companies? I do my job better if I'm stoned.

When Southern states have passed draconian laws that discriminate against people, Sessions was right on board championing "state's rights", saying the "people have spoken".
Why isn't he saying that now ?
