What are your political predictions for 2018?

Trump will visit Great Britain and the Parliament true to its word will incarcerate him.
The majority of Americans will approve.
@TexChik
2018 is when it will cover all of you conservatives. You can thank Moore!

More incessant liberal lies and whining about anything Trump . The economy will surge , people can start making money again , and Libs will turn blue trying to convince everyone that’s bad and probably pay more women to claim Trump assaulted them ... SSDD

In US politics, GOP retains the Senate, just because so few GOP incumbents are going up for election, and many democrats are. The democrats would need an exceptionally strong showing, since they're at a disadvantage. While that's not out of the question, it could happen, it seems more likely that after Alabama, the GOP has raised it's guard, and is ready to put up a stiff fight.

The House however is another matter. With every seat going up in the house, the democrats could make headway, and maybe take it, especially if the GOP is spread too thin trying to defend their senators.

@Xuan12 Thank you for a sensible answer

A party of oligarchs will control the legislative process while giving lip service to helping everyday people.

This will trigger people to debate how much better their party is while everyone is getting the shaft.
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
The Democrats are going to have another landslide defeat at the polls. They're done. America is great again now.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@USAalltheway Best spoof troll since TexChik
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
You’ve been wrong before Mrs Clinton 😉 @Burnley123
USAalltheway · 31-35, M
@Burnley123 So if you don't agree with someone they're automatically a spoof troll? I guess liberals aren't so tolerant after all.
lorne13 · 61-69, M
Trunp will resign to avoid impeachment
@lorne13 Please, please ? 😃
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@lorne13 I'm sure he would go gracefully.
Cierzo · M
Tension dangerously rising between US and Iran, risk of a war.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@Cierzo I agree. Not enough has been said about that bit I also see it looming.
Tatsumi · 31-35, M
Democrat control of congress.
TexChik · F
@Tatsumi that would likely lead to very serious issues and undermine the presidency for many cycles
ladycae · 100+, F
strong democratic turnout in elections resulting in loss of control by the gop, i think the stock bubble will burst and he ramifications of trumps tax bill will plunge us into another recession
smiler2012 · 56-60
burnley123 I do not how far we will get into 2018 before that ginger morons itchy trigger finger gets the better of him with north kore god forbid he does and they can find a more sensible approach to end this crisis
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I have none. I can't even speculate on what will happen. It's too chaotic.

Justin Trudeau will remain a moderately popular Prime Minister of Canada.

There!
eli1601 · 70-79, M
Republicans maintain control of the House with a slightly smaller majority and increase their majority in the Senate
I don't know what to expect, except that the total hash the GOP made of the healthcare plan and the tax budget is going to become more obvious to the morons who were championing those changes. 🙄
Xuan12 · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard You want to know why most the new tax bills effects don't kick in until 2019? I don't think I really need to say.
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@Xuan12 Gee I wonder...
Byron8by7 · M
More of the same, and twice as bad.
TheSeptikSkeptik · 46-50, M
I don't have enough information to make an educated guess but if I had to regardless? Al Frankin puts on a fake mustache, afro wig, and then runs for congress as Hal Franklin under the new political party "Booty Patrol."
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
Same as 2016.
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
Everyone will agree with Burnley 123 to keep from being accused of being a troll

May gone. Scottish referendum announced.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy I think May could survive till 2019 now Brexit had been fudged. I don't see a Scottish referendum until at least then.
thatscottishguy · 26-30, M
I didn't say there will be one in 2018. Announced so there can be a campaign. Oh and also we will all get our blue passports which is fantastic apparently😂.
Burnley123 · 41-45, M
@thatscottishguy I saw that lol. Taking back control messes up the economy by our passports change colour.

My prediction is that the U.S. national debt will take the stage in early 2018 as the most important issue on the table, ahead of anything else tabled so far.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
If anyone is able to find it it’s Swirlie 😉 @Burnley123
