"The Raven"
The Raven
In the silence
This lucidity of calm
Pressing back against the laughter
The raven’s dream of our souls
We know naught what we are
Yet we remain to be seen
Caught in the demons eyes
The unpleasant demise of our sins
These , here, are the ravens wings
Lips meshed against poignant souls
Teeth thrashing in quaint snarls
A lone arrow stuck
thrashing out against wounded flesh
What remains is the dreams of our lives
These are the ravens lips that we so elegantly kiss
Loves charity may suffice our hearts
Yet against the moon’s crevice
Shadows creep and yawn to fill the void
Unpleasantness of contempt
Those Suckers of souls that dwell
The ravens claws that expand and control
Lead us back against this demise
Press our lips against the tempted vein
Love , and to truly love , is sympathy
These ill gotten gains
These , my dear friends, are the raven’s eyes of thee
Alone in the madness, I simply dwell
Always alone this alone…..
I too often, know so damn well
This is the heart of the ravens soul.
In the silence
This lucidity of calm
Pressing back against the laughter
The raven’s dream of our souls
We know naught what we are
Yet we remain to be seen
Caught in the demons eyes
The unpleasant demise of our sins
