Your poem also makes me wonder whether I have ever taken advantage of someone's needs and hurt, without meaning to. If someone was saying to me "fuck me" would I have the sensitivity to understand why? That it might not be about desire or pleasure? I don't know.

@ServantOfTheGoddess a good to tell is to delay. And if your having conversations that mY lead in that direction just ask about their day and ask take interest in the details of their day. A sex addict of my kind likes to be vague and deflect and just hurt to get to business because those emotions are just beneath the surface. And rather than talk specifically I might seem all of a sudden disinterested or irritated at your probing questions.....

I hope this wasn't a silly reply but it's not okay to be used or use people even if it is to cover up pain or hurt

@MizzO This is a very helpful reply. You are making me really think about my own relationships and sexual encounters, and wanting to be more careful. I hope other people are thinking about this too as they read your words.

@iamBen i don't know how to respond to that. I just wrote how I was feeling off the top of my head. It helps to express it so that I don't act out.
