2010 near as I can remember. I used to make them with lady fingers as sponge. I used to have a very large clear glass bowl shaped like an opening tulip, and it was gorgeous in that bowl.
I also used to make the chocolate ones, without sherry.
@4meAndyou I used lady finger sponges last week. But this time I bought a raspberry jam Swiss roll, which looks great in slices in the glass bowl. I don't think I've had a chocolate one....maybe next time.
