I wish I could just sit all day near a pond or tree

Actually I wish I could do that everyday..

But for one day would be wonderful.. no worries.. no tasks..no anxiety.. no chaos.

who is WITH me?????💜🏞

That sounds wonderful.

I miss the area I worked in for 14 years 12 years ago. There were ponds with ducks and or geese all around. I spent many days sitting under a tree having lunch and sharing with the ducks and some fiesty geese. I mastered putting the aggressive geese in their place. Ever see a goose sulk?

Sounds wonderful. We're in the midst of our coldest, wettest August on record, and the time of the year in our area, where one can do something like this.

A few years back, I used to be prepared for cold weather hiking, and one of my favorite hikes, took me by a pond, with weeping willows around the edge. I used water-proof clothes, and I could sit there for hours, but not the whole day, because the trail closes at dusk. Theoretically I could stay overnight, but that's illegal and not advised with the abundant wildlife.

It would be nice if it weren't for mosquitoes. I could definitely do without them. But unfortunately they are always near bodies of water.

@Sapio and now in MA where I'm from..West Nile virus in mosquitoes is high😩

@Baybreeze I graduated in Norton, where you at?
Being by the water is so soothing for the soul. There’s just something magical about it. 🙂

@OlderSometimesWiser It is so true. I have wanted to get to the beach too for years now, and couldn't for some reason or another. It is the most wonderful place. But I'm not far from a pond, so maybe this week I'll go for at least a couple hours :) I think we all need to DECOMPRESS sometimes
@Baybreeze Absolutely do it! 👍

I love nature but idk if I can sit still all day. And I have a talent for attracting every mosquito and bug around ....
Teslin · M
Deck, audio book and nature.

nature always feels like home to me … it’s such a healing place to be in 🍃 🧺😌
Casting hookless fishing line out into the water, until it's close to dinner time, then I'll catch some fish for camping cuisine.
