Are the woods in New York state?
New york is,of course,best know for its city.But I was told that the state of New York has plently of woods and nature area for hunting,fishing etc.Is this true?And if so,exactly where would they be?

NYC has five boroughs, the further away you get from Manhattan (one of the five boroughs), the more rural life gets.
Keep in mind, NY state land wise is one of the bigger states.
