Is it a coincidence that quantum physics and spirituality is connected?

Seems to go hand in hand?
ElRengo · 70-79, M
The coincidence is all in the need of validating with Science what true or not haves no relationship with it.
Quantum Physics is used by them like the "Hic Sunt Leones" in some Roman maps.
Disclaimer, I´m not debating and neither refuting spirituality.
But yes the less than serious use of Science.
@ElRengo I apologize. Ordinarily, I read the articles I cite much more thoroughly than I did today. But rest assured, I will find something.
@ElRengo I think perhaps this might be closer to what I was looking for:

Or perhaps not...

@CorvusBlackthorne
Thank you for sharing it.
I´ll read it and also comment it later if you don´t mind as I have some joyful tasks as a grandfather today.
They’re not connected but there are some superficial resemblances.

My Grandfather Was a Quantum Physicist by Duane Big Eagle

I can see him now
smiling
in full dance costume
in front of the roundhouse
on a sunny afternoon.

Scientists have finally discovered
that the intimate details
of our lives
are influenced by things
beyond the stars
and beyond time.

My grandfather knew this.

How are they connected?
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@Northwest I don't know, the core concept of the Vedic religion?
https://utpjournals.press/doi/10.3138/uram.38.1-2.73#:~:text=The%20claim%20of%20Advaita%20Vedanta,is%20unaffected%20by%20the%20manifold.
Northwest · M
@LordShadowfire
The claim of Advaita Vedanta is that in the end, there will be found only one substance as the origin of the universe (Mazumder, “Quantum Physics”). This substance is independent of time and space; it is unaffected by the manifold.
That's not at all what Quantum Physics is about, and this quote is someone, recently, coming up with their own conclusions, not the Vedic scriptures.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@Northwest Idk, I went looking for an article, and honestly I skimmed it a bit.
fakable · T
you are absolutely right

both spirituality and quantum physics say they don't understand how what they are studying works

by the way, no one even knows exactly what the subject of their research is
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
@fakable Just like quantum entanglement and quantum tunneling.
Basia · 41-45, F
No. I do not believe anything is coincidence.
The simulation some scientists believe in is actually God's creative hand in work.
@BritishFailedAesthetic I see. So your evidence is an ad populum fallacy.
@CorvusBlackthorne Well, you know the gospel, something to think about on your interstellar holiday 🍹
@BritishFailedAesthetic The inhabitants of Viltvodle IV believe the universe was created quite by accident by a sneeze from a creature they called the Great Green Arkleseizure. These people live in fear of the coming of the Great Handkerchief, which they say will end the universe. Would you consider that comparable to your own beliefs?
