Maybe 5 or 6 years ago. It was odd, because every other time before the accompanying hallucinations were pretty realistic scenarios, like having to ask people for stuff or running late for something. But this one in question I actually experienced something more sinister and demonic.
The messed up part about it all was not just how terrifying it was, but how ridiculous what I hallucinated was. I somehow dreamed up a mummy during my sleep paralysis. Like pulled from a Scooby-Doo episode level of corny. He had glowing red-eyes, necrotic skin, rotting teeth, and was covered in bandages, but wearing a hood, kinda like Moon Knight.
I felt so stupid being so scared of something so cartoonish.
