I Have Had Sleep Paralysis

It happened to me again馃槚 I woke up to myself totally unable to move my body again I tried so hard to move my arms but nothing moved at all in front of my eyes. I tried to wiggle my fingers and toes but no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move them at all. So I wake up, try really hard but can't move, then pass out.. wake up again, try even harder but still can't move, then pass out again.. wake up again.. and again.. and again.. it was such a torture.... I also heard people knocking the door I kept repeating to my self it's all in my head it's all in my head... then it's gone. I knew it would become more if I didn't try to tell myself that

That sounds frightening. Is this caused by anxiety?
My anxiety caused sleep problems one was stopping breathing in my sleep.
Sending you big hugs.
Maybe prepare for this so you have something you can look at if this happens again.
Have a night light in your room so it鈥檚 not entirely dark when you wake up.
Put some thing sparkly or colourful on the ceiling or dangling from ceiling. Something calming and relaxing to look at.
I can鈥檛 imagine what this must feel like.
Sending you hugs honey. 馃

@Intissima well its mostly not being able to move while having hallucinations that scares me. In fact it has always happened during day time it's all bright so the hallucinations are clear to see. it didn't happen to me lately and thanks that's really sweet of you 馃

Easiest way to handle it is go back to sleep

Change where you sleep to another place . Maybe some sort of thing is pressing on your body.

I had that. It goes away as you grow older. It's scary as hell.

@Sourdad I hope so. 馃槥

@Katherine1994 Oh, that sounds very frightening. 馃槩

@Katherine1994 I would think that the more it happens the less frightening it would be. I know for me it was. The first couple of times completely freaked me out but once I understood what was happening I was able to rationalize my situation and calm myself till it passed.
