Progress report on our oldest boy

Today I got an email from our oldest boys teacher.

The email starts up I am not sure who this young man is that you two are sending to class every day but he is a complete 180 student I had last year.

And here's why

He is interacting in class and raising his hands to answer questions

He is leaving his security blanket on his desk when he goes to join the groups of other students doing activities.

He is talking to other students in the class without his younger brother present or his aid.

He has made a friend with one of the other students in the class and they get along great.

He showed his classmates his AFO'S.
They were a hit the kids love them and he was very proud to show them off.

He stood in front of the class and gave a very short presentation about his switch.

This young man has really come out of his shell in the last year and we are super impressed with all the improvements that he is making at school..

I am in tears Omg

@4meAndyou thank you. I am so proud of him but it does take a village and he is surrounded by an amazing family.

@Cigarguy Yes, he really is. But ask yourself...what was the BIGGEST difference between last year and THIS year? YOU.

@4meAndyou I think you are giving me to much credit. Joel is an amazing father.

@Cigarguy Yes he is...but your oldest boy was not making this kind of progress when Joel was his sole parent.
