"I don't see color..."

bullshit. scenario: someone tries to attack you and gets away and you got a good look at them. you'll see color when it comes time to fill out that police report.

"could describe them?"
"5'9, maybe 170 pounds. they had on a BLACK hoodie and BLUE jeans. and they were invisible?"

(see what I mean?)

I don’t think it’s racist to describe someone if you have to. It’s a sensitive topic.

They don't mean they literally don't see color. They mean color doesn't come into the equation when they're interacting with someone.

@DearAmbellina2113
it was a joke. however I have met people trying to be so P.C. that they acted as though race doesn't apply anymore. and it still does.

Ok. Somehow i got moved to a different post from Where i was before.

Sorry.. that is why i deleted my comment.

But this is not a scenario where people would say "i dont see color"

That is a terrible thing to say, but lots of white people seem to think it absolves them of racism.
Yeah well... I always fail the Ishihara test
