How to respond?

Im having back pain still from chiropractor last week..my back realllyy hurt last week after a treatment, when it typically does not do that. But I'm there primarily for realigning my jaw, so I'd like to take a break from back treatments. Im going to say "I would like to only do jaw now, my back is sore", but last time when my back was tender, they said "You still need the treatment, even if sore, and that it would help it." I truly dont want another back adjustment so how do I respond if they say that? I really hate confrontation 🙁

I'm assuming you are a paying customer rather than a patient?

You are in charge, you can still be polite and say what YOU want.

@SW-User Im a paying customer yes...but last time they said, it will help, when it was sore, and i just cant chance th a t pain again right now. So just say, no its ok, thanks? If they say another treatment will help?

@Coralmist I'm no back expert (even though I'm often sore with it)
You are saying you don't want it yet because of the pain...you know best imo
If they say this time will be painless or less pain then go for it if comfortable.

Just going to pm you (don't worry, nothing untoward)
