@DunningKruger that’s just as crazy as the actual “bomb drop” itself. So the story behind the shot is that Mike Basich (the riders name) set up a tripod and camera with a remote and then he got into the helicopter and right as he was exiting the helicopter he pushed the button on the remote and caught his amazing sequence. This fact amazed me!! Waldorf school graduate as well. He’s done a lot of very interesting projects connected to snowboarding. You should see his self constructed home built on the top of Donner Summit. He should be more well known than he is because of the fact that he lives eats and breathes snowboarding and mountain life as a whole!!!
