Uncle Milton

A once-frequent visitor at our backyard pond.

TexChik · F
Great Blues are so elegant and regal to watch as they fish.
HumanEarth · F
Here I thought you were talking about Milton Berle

Remember when everyone nickname him Uncle Miltie

Damn am I showing my true age

@HumanEarth Haha - I'm way ahead of you there. I thought the more formal "Milton" better fit the bird's chiding look after finding its peace disturbed.

They are common around here, and I enjoy watching them fish in the marsh.
Always glad to see the great blues. Can be some goofy looking birds
Havesomefun2 · 56-60, M
Used to have one visit my old house

Have a few hanging around here, too.

Pterodactyle?
grampup · 80-89, M
@LandOfOz Close, but without the annoyance of the leading P.
Azlotto · M
Good thing it's a visitor. If it stays, it will kill every fish and frog in that pond.
grampup · 80-89, M
@Azlotto None has taken up residence...and luckily, blue herons are said to feed alone, so no flash-mob devistations.
Azlotto · M
@grampup Trust me, it only takes one to clean out a pond.
grampup · 80-89, M
@Azlotto Well, those frogs were pretty silent after his short visits!
