Now that is weird! But very cool.

That looks a lot like the paintings of Chris Mars, drummer for amazing band The Replacements. If you’ve never heard of him you have to check him out. His stuff is wild.

SlapHappy · 36-40, M
That's pretty weird & dark af but I kind of like it so...
Punxi · F
@SlapHappy Paul Booth original. Most of his work is a bit twisted.
Steph34 · 31-35, F
@Punxi A bit like Giger.
WoWgirll · 36-40, F

Dark…but intriguing.
Punxi · F
@bijouxbroussard Yeah...most of his work is a bit unsettling. A freehand artist however. Oil on plywood.

Plus know him.

Hence a child is destroyed and a monster is born. I like it. It speaks to me and I understand it being crucified as early as being in the womb
WoWgirll · 36-40, F

What's "low-brow" about it?
Punxi · F
@Punxi I learn something new here everyday. I actually didn’t realize "lowbrow" defined a specific genre of art—I thought the general definition (unsophisticated, not intellectual) applied—with the caveat that it’s never been a deal-breaker for me. I see comic books as "lowbrow" entertainment, but I enjoy and collect them just the same (my favorites are "Ghost Comics"). And the black light posters my generation loved were definitely considered lowbrow (and some were pretty basic):
But they were a cherished part of my teenage years. 😊
Punxi · F
@bijouxbroussard A very difficult style...genres?....movement to accurately describe as you see...lol.

I obviously couldn't and Im a fan...and wordy af.

Happy however that you...feel me at last🤣

Comix....totally forgot that roadsign.

I know my pic out of millons is out there...but in truth its the colors I actually like really and the art of [b]them] as well.

I intend to paint the floor in the same room with deep gloss marbled epoxy already purchased ..that match them more than perfect.

🤷
