Can anyone else relate?

Maybe true in majority of cases, but certainly not all .. especially in households where no woman lives.
Both partners should carry a balance of responsibility, period.

Roles are reversed in our home. Its me doing the vast majority of the stuffs .. the paying the bills, making the budget, mowing the grass, removing the snow, buying all the things, fixing the things, doing the FAFSAs and 1040s, planning the trips, at least half the dishes, all my own laundry, majority by far of cooking etc etc ... and she still expects help w cleaning house.

Divorce is in process .. she'll find out how much she's not been doing soon enough.

I can deal with the laundry but not the dishes. In the evenings, I use disposable plates if I eat something so I don't have any dishes to wash. Nothing worse than getting up or coming home to dirty dishes in the sink. I have a dishwasher, but I live alone, and to run it for my few dishes is a waste.

I confess that I don't have many dirty dishes, and I usually let them go for a day or two after I've rinsed them. And...don't hate me...my cleaning lady does my laundry and folds it and puts MOST of it away! 😔

I can relate agreeing with the female population. Of course I don't have facts and figures but I would imagine that females do those chores and men making burnout more likely. Hence your pic?

I don't mind doing dishes or laundry but then again I've been doing both for decades.

My wife just hates folding or putting laundry away. It’s definitely my nemesis. I just have to fold it all and put it away. Otherwise, I’d go nuts.

Dishes more, washing machine washes the clothes today. That's easy now.
