Admin stop this new feature posting our pics

I agree... Makes the ladies an open target...

Permissions must be given to reproduce photos... Especially for public consumption.... In my opinion Admin overstepped the mark big time...

It's a stupid addition that we don't need and don't want...and if the admins persist in doing things like this, more people will decide that they don't need or want SW either.
This site revisions are getting like an album from a one-hit wonder....one hiit and ten misses. Most of the revisions seem poorly thought out and are not liked by the majority of users.

Yes, it's a problem for those of us who show their own face in their profile picture.

if you accept membership to this site they can do pretty much what they want with your pics. Does my pic show up there? Change your pic to something that isnt a pic of you, like I do.

She is right of course. The default option should always be no consent. And each admin knows this to be the only fair way to respect the privacy of members. It only takes one of you to take a stand.

Law???????????? You must be kidding. Right? EVERY word...every pic you have EVER sent to anyone in your life .....or typed and/or posted on the internet........is now public information. The fact you show a picture.......on a site....even as an avi on that site only (supposedly).....means you explicitly agreed it now belongs to the entire world to do with as they please. YOU made ur pic public..........the site didn't.

I agree with there being no sense in the feature, but no, there is no legal recourse; when you sign up here you agree to their Terms of Service and have to play by SW's rules. That's how the internet works. :(
