You've got a good eye. Some nice shots there. I hope you can work everything out.

I enjoyed your subjects, especially the river with the reflections and ripples.

Loved to the animal shots. Try to get closeups by adjusting the lens. Also care with the horizontal. This will get better as you master your camera. I find getting used to a new camera difficult.

Lovely shots. You have potential. The last is particularly good.

Look forward to seeing whats discovered
Beautiful. Take a big knife with you. I carry multiple knives and bear spray on me to feel safe, then just get out there.
@Frostcloud I was a corrections officer for a while, long time ago

@Frostcloud yeah it ended up not being for me

Great photos. You should do it. I’m thinking of getting into it myself, but it’s not something I’ve done before.
Revanchist · 31-35, M
@Frostcloud I’m probably going to look into a starter camera, I like spending time outdoors and in nature so it doesn’t seem like a bad idea.
ninalanyon · 70-79, T
@Revanchist It's the subject and composition that matter most rather than the camera. I have a friend who is quite a photography enthusiast with a very expensive Nikon and correspondingly expensive lenses. But he won a photography competition with a picture taken on his mobile phone.

@ninalanyon a lot of modern cell phones have really great cameras already 🙂‍↕ i got myself an actual camera finally. i've been wanting one for years

Get out and take pictures in a place where you feel comfortable. I like to walk around my yard with my camera or phone. You'll be amazed at what you can find.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Nice images, just keep shooting. Do pay attention to the horizon and horixontals.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Frostcloud look at your image of the cows and the horizon. Most often the image looks better when the horizon is horizontal.
Frostcloud · F
@samueltyler2 ohhhh yeah. i think when it's tilted it's called a "dutch angle" and a lot of people find it uncanny. i personally kinda like it in that pic in particular but it wasn't intentionally taken that way, i had to pull my phone out quick before the calf ran away and that's just how it came out
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Frostcloud you can straighten it out and see if it improves or is less effective.

Beautiful pictures ♥ You covered many aspects of nature. Each picture conveys a story if it’s own!

That cow said i did not consent
Musicman · 61-69, M
Your pictures look great. I would highly suggest doing it. If you don't want to go alone then join a photography club. Then you can have another photographer go with you. That way no one is bored.
Frostcloud · F
@Musicman oh that's a good idea, maybe i could meet some new friends that way too c:

@Frostcloud Making new friends is always a plus. 🙂
