I got it done because I was feeling very ugly and unwanted. I wanted to know I could be beautiful.
When i picked out the style, the girl asked me if I was pregnant. I laughed and said I wasn't. She said it was weird because everyone who picked that had been. I assured her I wasn't.
She got my hair curled and I told her, "You have about 10 minutes to take those pictures before the curls fall out."
She laughed till 11 minutes went by. Then she said, "Oh! You weren't joking!" Lol My hair has always wanted to be straight as an arrow till I started turning grey.
This is my daughter's favorite picture of me. I will probably give it to her as a gift. It is also my favorite picture of myself. One of the few I can actually look at.

I won a competition to have a makeover and photoshoot when I was 21. My mum and dad still hang the pictures on their living room wall. It was a fun day. 🙂
