We are supposed to get a severe storm tonight. The golf course next door blew their siren at about 18:45 and I took these images about 15 mins later. The rain started at about 19:15. I don't know which of the images I like the best, so i posted all of them.
@meggie my first 2 houses had water in the basement. The first one cost a small fortune to get dried, the second one I did it myself. The basement walls were exposed so each time it rained, i would go to the basement with a "cold chisel" and hydraulic cement, cut out the hole and stuffed the cement into the hole. The next time, the location would change and I would do it again.
@MarineBob thanks, i am indoors. Strangely, i was discussing with an SW friend about our needing rain, and the fact that we are having increasing incidents of severe storms, lots of bad wind.
