Scarlet Pages of Deceit

Mary lay motionless on her bed, her crimson locks spread like a macabre halo around her head. Clad in nothing but lingerie, her body was a stark contrast to the innocence of the novels she adored. The only company she had in her final moments was the book she was reading, its pages forever frozen in time, a silent witness to her demise. A pair of delicate glasses were placed meticulously atop the open book, evidently belonging to the victim, as if mocking Mary's passion for literature. Each lens reflected the cold, unforgiving truth of her fate.

(model is me!)

@SwiftieShutterbug you did well. I often find myself short a model, so i include myself. It isn't easy to do. On this case, i am.not sure how you could have.

My newest camera, a Nikon Z50 has WiFi connection to my mobile device, which makes it a bit easier. But, having an actual.mpdel, or haven't ng someone take my photo, would be a lot better.

@SwiftieShutterbug i wish I had a photographer to help me. I have drawn, painted, photographed and sculpted for decades, I have never posed.

@SwiftieShutterbug that is game of your, but, it would be more like a shoot, you can never get the "right" image in one exposure. I was asked to pose once, it never turned out. Another time i was going to pose and COVID closed the studio.

Are you really a shutter if or just for your stories?

@SwiftieShutterbug I have gone back, erratically. You used the name shutterbug, would you call yourself that? I have many images in albums. They are carefully labeled.
