I hope not, if we are forced to have it.

@AbbeyRhode Good point.

I use it all the time and there's no issues lol a lot of it is people just looking for a reason to hate change
Elessar · 26-30, M
@deadgerbil Technological conservatives 😮‍💨

I got a new laptop a year ago - solid state rather than hard drive - which was pre-loaded with Windows 11. There were a few differences I had to get used to but I haven't noticed any more problems than 10, 7 or XP.......

When i did a prerelease version of win11 i got free and upgraded my win10 it made my pc better. And much more stable
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@496sbc every time they release a new version, they start releasing "updates" to older version to make it slower/more unstable to try to get you to upgrade...

@wildbill83 that’s why i have a software that stops all windows updates.
bowman81 · M
I don't seem to have any more problems than before. The transition was seamless.

We have 22 machines running it at work and home. It works fine so far.
shuhak · M
I find it better than 10.
Linux user, I have no idea. If I'm allowed my assumptions, I'd say it probably sucks.😆🐧
Nimbus · M
@UnderLockDown I've heard of Linux.
It's like learning a new language? :)
@Nimbus Super easy!! Most can be used without ever needing the command line. Most have become very user friendly.
Lilnonames · F
I only used 10
Nimbus · M
@UnderLockDown ?? Why not what? :)
@Nimbus You asked why have that whole setup. I say, why not.🤓
@Lilnonames I wish I could find a fresh unused Win98 laptop, just so I can play around with my old interactive After Dark screensavers CD ROM again.

Other than being Windows? Not really
If Netscape had not have complained about internet explorer being hardcoded into Win98SE, we never would have gotten ME and the subsequent ever worsening followups.
