Bad news! My engine registered a misfire in cylinder two a few days ago!

Good news! It didn’t do it again that day, and I moved the ignition coil and spark plug to cylinder four to see if that cylinder registered a misfire.

Bad news! It misfired again yesterday.

Good news! It was in cylinder four, so it’s not a gasket problem,

Bad news! I put both the spark plug and ignition coil in the same cylinder so I don’t know which it was.

Good news! I’m now practiced at getting into the engine, so it was easy enough to move the coil to cylinder three.

Bad news! It misfired again this morning.

Good news! I now know exactly which part I have to replace.

Bad news! It’s the ignition coil, the more expensive between the two.

Good news! Amazon has one in stock at a good price!

Bad news! It won’t be here until Saturday, and it’s supposed to rain.
