should i trust modern technology

i want to start saving for a new iphone...but i heard these new iphones now have AI technology and spy on you, which made me a a bit suspicious and untrusting of getting a new iphone...is there nothing to be worried about or am i right to be wary and untrusting of this newer technology?

Seems like everything these days is loaded with AI, must track you, like what's the point of all this? We got along just fine without AI and without cellphones since the dawn of man. Trying to wrap my head around why it's such a necessity these days.

I honestly don't trust it, AI and everything. I've used it and it worked okay for what I needed. I would have thought chatgpt pulled info from books but that's not the case at all.

Regardless, if I could upgrade to Windows 11, I don't think I would want to. I honestly think if billions of people went to Linux, ms would change their tune.

I don’t buy new anymore refurbished from back market. I buy old to save money. Works just fine year warranty

Usually you can turn it off. Just like you can turn off GPS.

Yet you must understand certain things don't obviously show you how to do that.
