Dropped My Phone Off Today...

It was raining, snowing, and hailing (at different times ofc), and obviously I'm not gonna take the bus just to drop it off nor am I gonna ride my bike cause it's too cold. I walked to the virtual office and it took about an hour to get there and an hour back; by the time I came home, my feet got blisters, my hips and knees were hurting, and my hands were freezing. The repair shop company had to close down their retail stores and do everything remotely in order to save on business expenses due to losing profit from the last few years. My phone got wet from the back side, and while the Galaxy A34 is rated as IP67, a small part of the backplate is exposed.

However as I'm aware, modern motherboards do have some water and dust resistance to them, and I never submerged my phone in water nor directly exposed it to the rain for long periods so I think I'm good. For anyone who didn't read my previous post, I broke the screen a 2nd time and I'm getting it fixed, and I hope only the screen needs to be replaced. I will also be addressing my anger issues that I have regarding touchscreens, as I've broken many phones over the years (but others weren't), so don't worry about me. I will also be changing my career path to skilled trades, so money won't be much of an issue eventually.

Now, I have done my research and conducted my own diagnostics, which confirmed that my motherboard is most likely still functioning properly. The battery though I'm skeptical, as after the screen broke, I've been experiencing issues that didn't arise the first time the screen was broken. These problems are having to hold down the power button to show the corrupted pixels sometimes (while only needing to press it at other times), as well as random fluctuations of temperature of the phone when not recharging. I previously was concerned with other issues, but those issues went away or can easily be explained by the screen not working and/or how Android is.

Does anyone know if the battery is still working properly and doesn't need to be replaced? The screen alone costs me 250 dollars to replace (50 dollars is for diagnostics) because the display is Super AMOLED, so it's more expensive than LCD/LED and even OLED and AMOLED. Sadly due to how Super AMOLED is designed, if the screen is broken (and it's easy for that to occur), the entire screen has to be replaced. I can still charge my phone as indicated by the phone getting hot and my laptop being able to detect my phone once it's recharged long enough, but I'm still paranoid. Obviously only the technicians can truly diagnose for sure.
