At what age should a child be allowed a cell phone ?

They’re so prevalent, I think good kids can handle one at 11-12. I think everyone has one by their freshman year in hs, so you might as well get the hang of it before then.

With rules of course.

@Adogslife I remember talking about this when i was a kid. How in the future you would have your own personal phone and you'd but able to ring each other up. I had no idea how they would invent such a thing or long the phone numbers would be. (how are you going to remember them?) Now the dream is real
